We feel that a house is not a home without at least one dog in it...and the best dog is a German Shepherd! We have been married for 33 years and 31 of those years had German Shepherds in our home. We have 2 boys who are grown and married now, so Ellie & Bear are definitely our fur babies. We've had many German Shepherds over the years, but the two that we have now are exceptional. Playful and cuddly, Bear is like a giant puppy but can switch into security mode in an instant. Ellie is always paying attention to your every move and "ready to go" on command. She absolutely loves to learn new tricks and her favorite thing in the world is to "herd" the golf cart. They both love to swim, go for walks and take car rides.
Ellie and Bear are so amazing that I wish WE could keep one of their puppies! We feel that when you have something great, you need to share it, and these dogs are great!

My love for the German Shepherd breed started while I was in the Air Force. I watched the trainers teach the dogs amazing skills and wished that I had THAT job. A good German Shepherd WANTS to learn and please their human and these two are the epitome of that! A trained Shepherd is a happy Shepherd~they want to be trained, they want a job and they want to make you happy.
Not all dogs are trainable and not all humans are able to train. No matter what kind of dog you get, be sure it's trainable, and if you are not able to train, hire someone! It will make your life with your dog much happier!

I admit, I am NOT a trainer! I'm the cuddler! Who would think a German Shepherd liked to cuddle?! These two do. Our dogs have always started out the night in our bed, and I LOVE that! I'm not sure which one likes to cuddle more, but when we say, "let's go to bed" they are very excited!
You will see from our photos that Ellie and Bear are part of our family and their puppies will be for the short time they are with us. I will probably cry when each puppy leaves our home, and I would love to keep in touch with you if you choose to take one home.
